MyCyberTwin News Timeline

Notes:

It should be noted that the Australian chatbot company originally known as MyCyberTwin (later renamed Cognea) has been bought by IBM Watson. IBM seems to have added something they call Dialog, a rules-based user response system (presumably a result of their acquisition of the chatbot company, formerly known as MyCyberTwin, re-named Cognea). IBM Watson acquired at least two AI companies, alchemyapi.com and cognea.com (aka mycybertwin.com). Alchemy API was actually a very clever addition for the modular IBM Watson API ecosystem on Bluemix. Cognea was basically a highend, corporate chatbot company for CRM, which presumably forms the basis for the new Dialog API on Bluemix. Cognea AI was acquired by IBM for an undisclosed sum in May 2014.
