Mashups & Natural Language Generation

Notes:

A mashup (or mash-up) can be any mixture or fusion of disparate elements. In computing, a mashup is a web page or application created by combining data or functionality from different sources. A data mashup is an integration of two or more data sets in a single interface. Yahoo Pipes was a well known example of a mashup tool. Other examples of mashup tools from recent academic literature include KBGenMashup and Tutorons.

  • API mashup
  • Conceptual mashup
  • Data mashup
  • Semantic mashup
  • Web service mashup
