Document Planning & Natural Language Generation 2020


Notes:

Automated planning is one of the oldest sub-areas of AI. Automated planning is related to automated reasoning.

Document planning may be referred to as content selection. Document planning consists of deciding what content should be integrated to the output and how it should be structured. Document planning may be described as a linear theoretical proof search.

Macro-planning consists of content selection followed by document structuring. Typical macro-planning systems take a high level representation of input data, select and structure the final information to convey.
