Notes:
JACK is a software platform for building and running multi-agent systems, which are systems composed of a collection of autonomous agents that can take input from the environment, communicate with each other, and make decisions based on their beliefs, desires, and intentions. JACK is based on the BDI (Beliefs, Desires, and Intentions) logical foundation, which is a model-driven approach. It is written entirely in Java, making it highly portable, and comes with a graphical development environment called JDE (Jack Development Environment). A typical JACK project workflow includes creating an agent, giving it a name, a plan, and an event, which the agent can either post or handle. Once the components are in place, they can be compiled as a capability component and added to a capability library.
