How long until AI becomes advanced enough to understand stories?
The one thing the Turing tests, in the form of the Loebner Prize, have shown us is that it really doesn’t matter whether or not the machine understands like a person, so long as it can convince a person that it does…. What does it really mean to under-stand, or stand under, anyway?
