What is hampering the scaling of robotic infrastructure in today’s world?
=> Chatbots 3.2 – Philadelphia
I addressed this in Philadelphia, in the 2012 videos above, and can’t say that a lot has changed since then.
1) There is not adequate middleware for the integrations required for experimental AI, and in particular cloud based middleware (SaaS).
2) There is not adequate Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for visual programming (Pipelines and Workflows), not only for non-programmers but also for Rapid Application Development.
3) Other than the burgeoning number of APIs, there is no adequate middleware, no adequate cloud based middleware, no adequate graphical cloud based middleware for the integration and processing of the tasks of Natural Language Processing by everyman, just to begin with.
There needs to be something along the lines of Salesforce that is not exclusively limited to conventional business processes, but something broad enough to include all the possibilities of experimental AI.
