CMU Sphinx is a group of speech recognition systems developed at Carnegie Mellon University. CMU Sphinx is widely used in research and development of speech recognition technology, and has been applied in a variety of domains, including automatic speech recognition, speaker identification, and language modeling. CMU Sphinx uses a variety of techniques, including hidden Markov models and neural networks, to process and interpret speech signals. It is notable for its high accuracy and robustness in noisy environments, and has been used in a variety of applications, including mobile devices, consumer electronics, and medical devices.
