Notes:
In 2014, virtual humans, also known as digital humans or avatars, were being used in a number of different ways. At that time, the technology for creating and using virtual humans was still relatively new, and many of the applications for virtual humans were experimental or in the early stages of development. Some of the ways that virtual humans were being used in 2014 included the following:
- In entertainment, virtual humans were being used in movies, TV shows, and video games to create realistic and believable characters. They were also being used in virtual reality experiences and other interactive media to provide immersive and engaging experiences for users.
- In education, virtual humans were being used as teaching assistants and tutors, providing personalized instruction and feedback to students. They were also being used in simulations and other training environments to provide realistic and engaging learning experiences.
- In customer service, virtual humans were being used as virtual assistants and chatbots, providing assistance and answering questions for customers. They were also being used in virtual events and other interactive experiences, allowing customers to interact with digital versions of real people in a natural and intuitive way.
Overall, virtual humans were being used in a variety of ways in 2014, and their use has continued to grow and evolve in the years since then.
