BilibiliWorld is an annual large-scale offline cultural carnival organized by Chinese video platform Bilibili, launched in 2017 to merge animation, gaming, virtual idols, and emerging technologies into immersive fan experiences. Often described as “the offline version of Bilibili,” it features stage performances, game premieres, virtual-streamer zones, cosplay, merchandise markets, and VR/AR activities. The 2025 edition, held July 11–13 at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center, expanded to all eight halls covering 240,000 m², hosting over 700 exhibitors, 1,000 global guests, and attracting 300,000–500,000 visitors. It also served as a tourism boost for Shanghai, significantly increasing hotel bookings and cultural spending.
