**The Venice Carnival Enters The Metaverse For The First Time This Year Through the Use of Avatar Technology **
TALLINN, ESTONIA (February 8, 2023) – Ready Player Me, the digital avatar platform for the metaverse, today announced a collaboration with PwC Italy, a community combining human ingenuity, experience, technology and products to help organizations build trust and deliver sustained outcomes.
In order to support the historical Venice Carnival, which started on Saturday, February 4th and runs through the 21st of the month, PwC collaborated with Vela Spa to launch the Venice Virtual Carnival, an immersive experience that makes the historic event go virtual through 3D wearable skins for metaverse and Instagram filters.

Attendees at The Venice Virtual Carnival are able to dress up their Ready Player Me avatars wearing traditional clothes or masks created for the occasion.
In the virtual experience, users can move their avatars in any compatible metaverse, bringing the magic of the Venice Carnival everywhere.
Besides the Ready Player Me integration, the virtual masks can also be worn through Roblox, as well as Instagram with the help of six custom-created filters.
