Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) will host the **International Human Performance Summit** (IHPS) at its San Antonio headquarters. The summit aims to bring together sports scientists, athletic organizations, academia, and military units to explore the latest advancements in human performance research. The event, which began in 2017, focuses on translating research into practical applications in various fields. This year’s summit will cover topics such as motion optimization, sprint biomechanics, biomolecular athletes, **human digital twin**, recovery, and strength and conditioning applications. Renowned experts from different institutions will be speaking at the event. The IHPS is organized by SwRI’s Human Performance Initiative, which applies a multidisciplinary scientific and engineering approach to understand and quantify the components of physical performance.
