**Xmov AI Unveils Next-Gen 3D Virtual Humans: A New Era of Scalable, Ultra-Realistic AI Interactions**
On August 16th, Xmov AI held a launch event in Shanghai for its ultra-realistic 3D virtual human AIGC consumer products. The company introduced three products: “Mofa Speaks” (é?çæ??è¨?), “Mofa Shines” (é?çæ??å??), and “Mofa Magic” (é?çæ??çµ).
According to Chai Jinxiang, the CEO of Xmov AI, a 3D virtual human should possess three capabilities: physical appearance, ability to express (through video and interactivity), and professionalism (having specialized capabilities in specific domains). Chai believes such 3D virtual humans can transform various business scenarios and touchpoints.
Within the next 1 to 2 years, Xmov AI plans to open up the AIGC virtual human technology to more third-party developers, aiming to engage more talented entrepreneurs in the creation of virtual human applications, thereby establishing a more prosperous 3D virtual human application ecosystem.
Chai, with over 20 years of experience in AI and computer graphics, defined and elaborated the development path for 3D virtual humans. He divided them into two axes: the vertical axis represents whether there is a physical appearance, and the horizontal axis distinguishes between AIGC-generated and manually crafted creations. This categorizes the current companies in the virtual human race as either film/animation MCN companies or AIGC-related companies.
Chai noted that public awareness of virtual humans often comes from the gaming and film/animation industry, such as the ultra-realistic 3D film IP Alita and NPCs in AAA games. Such virtual humans have high-quality visual expressions but are constrained by the high costs and lengthy production cycles of manual content creation.
In contrast, other virtual human development paths rely on AIGC generation, such as chatGPT and Midjourney’s text-to-text and text-to-image technologies. Chai believes that, in today’s mobile internet era dominated by short videos and livestreams, text-based content, as represented by chatGPT, cannot meet the demands for high-frequency video content production in corporate branding, marketing, business communication, and various service scenarios.
At the launch event, Xmov AI presented its vision for 3D virtual humans to have high-quality appearances but also to be cost-effective, accessible, and scalable in their application. The company announced the world’s first end-to-end hyper-realistic 3D virtual human industrial production line.
The three consumer products launched are:
1. “Mofa Speaks,” a virtual human video AIGC platform aimed at enabling efficient brand message delivery through video, making AIGC-generated video creation as simple as making a PowerPoint presentation.
1. “Mofa Shines,” a virtual human livestream AIGC platform that supports AI-driven hyper-realistic 3D virtual human livestreams, providing low-threshold, low-cost, high-quality, and scalable virtual e-commerce livestream services for brands, influencers, and MCN agencies.
1. “Mofa Magic,” a virtual human service AIGC platform that helps businesses efficiently create AI virtual human services tailored for specific business scenarios, essentially replicating the “best practices” of top-performing employees on a large scale.
For example, in the automotive industry, Xmov AI showcased how virtual humans and these new products can reshape key touchpoints between car companies and users, from product launches to customer service.
In Xmov AI’s vision, 3D virtual humans will become virtual customer service reps, virtual doctors, virtual lawyers, virtual tour guides, virtual teachers, virtual HR reps, virtual anchors, etc., effectively replicating the â??best practicesâ? skills of star employees in a high-quality, efficient, accessible, and scalable manner, empowering industries such as marketing, healthcare, legal services, tourism, education, human resources, and broadcasting.
