In order to provide readers with a new immersive reading experience, the China-Singapore Friendship Library will launch a virtual experience system driven by the Metaverse during the 6th World Intelligence Conference on June 24. The virtual experience system includes two parts: the online 3D venue and the digital human smart screen in the venue.
The 3D venue has built an immersive interactive virtual library by adopting a number of new technologies such as SLAM space tracking, AI, 3D vision, and 3D rendering. Readers can roam in the virtual space, navigate to different functional areas in VR, and even introduce the library to you as a virtual docent by real-life librarians. The audience can experience the 3D venue online through the official WeChat account of the museum.
The digital human smart screen upgrades the traditional reading large screen and introduces a virtual digital human blog, which can provide many functions such as library bibliographic retrieval, massive electronic resources, intelligent voice interaction, and 3D venues. At present, a total of 2 units are deployed in the library, which are located in the shared hall of the library.

Virtual human service, based on AI technologies such as image recognition, speech recognition and synthesis, semantic understanding, portrait modeling, etc., has created a virtual human blog with certain cognitive and expressive abilities, with a variety of anthropomorphic dynamics such as blinking, smiling, mouth Types of opening and closing, waving, bowing, etc., provide readers with a more cordial, polite and warm service.
Intelligent voice interaction closely integrates massive resources with virtual humans, and the whole service can be controlled by voice in real time. Simple man-machine dialogue can realize new reading experiences such as bibliographic retrieval, online reading, page turning, and closing.
Digital reading, the digital human wisdom screen includes more than 50,000 books on the list and new best-selling books, with more than 10,000 new books added every year; more than 3,000 best-selling periodicals and more than 200,000 issues are updated in real time; a total of 60,000 audiobooks Yuji, updated from time to time. Books and journals can be switched between original and text reading, both online reading and mobile phone scanning code reading.
