Notes:
In the context of natural language processing (NLP) and dialog systems, “language-independent” often refers to the ability of the system to handle multiple languages without the need for language-specific processing or training. For example, a language-independent dialog system might be able to understand and respond to input in multiple languages, such as English, Spanish, and French, without requiring separate models or processing for each language.
“Language-independent” can also refer to programming language, in which case it means that a system or piece of software is not tied to a specific programming language and can be implemented in any language. For example, a language-independent software library might provide a set of functions or APIs that can be used in any programming language, rather than being specific to a particular language.
