Notes:
Pedagogical agents, also known as tutoring agents or educational agents, are computer programs that are designed to facilitate learning by providing personalized instruction and feedback to learners. These agents are often used in educational software and virtual learning environments to provide a more interactive and engaging learning experience.
Pedagogical agents can be implemented in a variety of ways, including as virtual tutors or assistants, instructional games, or interactive simulations. They can be programmed to provide feedback and guidance to learners based on their performance and progress, and can also be designed to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of each learner.
Pedagogical agents are often used in conjunction with dialog systems, which are computer programs that are able to engage in natural language conversations with humans. Dialog systems can be used to enable pedagogical agents to communicate with learners in a more natural and intuitive way, using spoken or written language. This can help to make the learning experience more interactive and engaging, as learners can ask questions and receive feedback in real-time. Dialog systems can also be used to enable pedagogical agents to adapt their instructional approach based on the responses and interactions of the learner.
