Notes:
Virtual reality (VR) technology is being used in a variety of ways to support treatment and therapy for a range of conditions and disorders. VR can be used to create immersive, interactive environments that can be used to help people learn new skills, cope with stress and anxiety, or overcome phobias and other challenges. For example, VR can be used to simulate situations that are difficult or impossible to experience in the real world, such as flying, public speaking, or natural disasters. This can provide people with a safe and controlled way to practice and build their skills and confidence, without the risks or challenges of the real world. VR can also be used to provide people with exposure therapy, which is a technique used to help people overcome phobias and other fears by gradually exposing them to the things they fear in a controlled, therapeutic environment.
