Word-sense disambiguation is the process of determining the correct meaning of a word in a given context. This is often a challenging task for natural language processing systems, as words can have multiple meanings depending on the context in which they are used.

Word-sense disambiguation is often used in chatbots and other natural language processing systems to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the system. For example, a chatbot might use word-sense disambiguation to determine the correct meaning of a word that is used by the user in order to respond appropriately. This can help the chatbot to better understand the user’s intention and provide a more accurate and relevant response.
