**Hancom Frontis adds AI digital human and AI 3D scanning business to Metaverse**
*Through partnerships with Korea Engineering University and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, which have AI experts and infrastructure*
Hancom Frontis (CEO Jung Hyun-seok), a developer specializing in the metaverse of Hangul and Computer Group, signed a business agreement with Korea Engineering University and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) at CES 2023 to strengthen artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the metaverse service.
Through this business agreement, Hancom Frontis will jointly promote ‘AI digital human and AI 3D scanning business’ in connection with ‘Arzmeta’, its metaverse platform.
Hancom Frontis plans to carry out projects such as modeling-video-voice-language-content creation for joint development of AI digital humans in partnership with Korea Engineering University and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, which have AI experts and infrastructure.
The AI â??â??digital human developed in the future will be used in various ways, such as a Korean instructor in the Arzmeta office zone, a non-face-to-face checkup counselor in the healthcare zone, and a store coordinator in the store zone.
In addition, by co-developing a 3D scanning engine using a camera, they plan to establish a system in which various products can be uploaded and sold in My Room or Store Zone in Arzmeta within a short period of time.
Hancom Frontis is actively expanding partnerships for linking AI technology, such as signing a business agreement with Plutnit, a subsidiary of Saltlux, an AI company, to apply AI virtual human video production technology to Metaverse service in November.
