**AI Digital Human Solution Provider, FOCO, Secures Multi-Million RMB in Angel Financing**
AI digital human solution provider, FOCO, recently completed a multi-million RMB angel round of financing, led exclusively by Innovation Workshop, with Far-sighted Capital serving as the long-term exclusive financial advisor. The funding will be mainly used for the construction of a technical team and the development of underlying technology. FOCO, founded in November 2022, aims to generate and drive digital humans with multimodal interactive capabilities using their AI technology.
The team behind FOCO primarily hails from prestigious institutions like Tsinghua University and Peking University. FOCO’s goal is to create and control ultra-realistic digital characters, including humans, creatures, and cartoons, to meet the diverse needs of the evolving digital character market. Currently, FOCO has reached project cooperation with state-owned enterprises such as Poly Culture and large MCN companies.
The founder and CEO of FOCO is Zhou Yifu (å?¨é?¸å¤«). He graduated from Tsinghua University’s School of Fine Arts for his undergraduate studies and later earned a master’s degree from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. He formerly served as vice president of the Digital Domain Group and has led a wide range of film and TV special effects and VR projects.
