**KLleon to Present Real-time Digital Human Technologies at SIGGRAPH 2023: A New Era in Communication and AI Integration**
Digital Human AI startup KLleon, led by CEO Jin Seung-hyuk, announced that both the CEO and CRO (Chief Research Officer) Kang Ji-su will be speaking at SIGGRAPH, the world’s largest computer graphics conference, in Los Angeles from August 6th to 10th. Celebrating its 50th year, SIGGRAPH 2023 will include keynote speeches from global IT companies like NVIDIA, Unity, and IBM, along with exhibitions and job fairs featuring the latest software and hardware. On the third day of the event, KLleon will present on “Communication through Real-time Digital Humans” in a session following NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote speech. The session will include discussions about digital humans based on real individuals developed by KLleon and 3D graphics-based digital humans developed by NVIDIA’s research team.
KLleon, which formed a relationship with NVIDIA in 2020 through a startup promotion program, has since been selected as a premier partner in NVIDIA’s startup accelerating program, NVIDIA Inception. Recently, KLleon unveiled a real-time digital human chatbot “Chat Avatar,” combining digital human and ChatGPT technology, and is in collaboration discussions for applications in entertainment, education, and various industries.
SIGGRAPH has been fostering discussions about digital humans since the early 2000s, and the field is becoming more vibrant with the advancement of related technologies, improvements in digital human quality, and the emergence of VR/AR and metaverse. KLleon’s “Chat Avatar” and the integration with actively researched and developed AI technology are expected to further broaden the application of digital humans, paving the way for more diverse and in-depth discussions in the future.
