**Meta** is introducing legs to Quest Avatars in its Quest Home platform as part of a new beta, but these won’t appear in Horizon Worlds for now. The update, revealed in the Meta Community forums, has been eagerly awaited, with a post on X (formerly Twitter) providing a sneak peek of the avatar legs. However, users can only see the legs using an in-game mirror, and the avatars don’t crouch synchronously with users. Beta versions for Horizon Worlds’ mobile and web apps have also shown these legs. Additional updates include enhanced hand tracking menus and a potential extended battery mode. Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, previously mentioned the challenges of integrating legs, emphasizing the need for AI models for leg movement.
