**CYBER STAR, operated by Piala Inc.** based in Tokyo’s Shibuya district and led by Asuka Takao, has announced the commencement of their VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) business. To mark this new venture, they have introduced their first VTuber, named “é?³ç?¼ ã??ã?? (Nerou Bibi)”, designed by renowned illustrator Kubota Masaki with modeling by Maroyaka Milk. The character embodies the “tsundere” concept and symbolizes both song and art. Given the rising popularity of VTubers, the company aims to leverage them for marketing and branding, and also envisages overseas expansion, capitalizing on their subsidiary’s experience with Japanese IP in China. Auditions for the first generation of VTubers are now open, and Piala’s platform, CYBER STAR, will support monetization efforts for these virtual talents.
