Shahin Maghsoudi is the CEO or Technical Director of Robot-Hosting, a company based in New Zealand that has developed more than 20 robots with different capabilities. The company received funding of $30 million in an equity line. Maghsoudi has developed a robot assistant named Luca and has also created a robot tutor that can provide verbal answers to nine questions related to a lecture. He has received awards for the technology he developed for Robot-Hosting, including the Multimedia Award in 2004. Maghsoudi has also written a book on epistemic logic and planning and has developed a chatbot hosting service. He has received support and assistance from KGP in his business endeavors.
