Notes:
Kristian Hammond is a professor of Computer Science and Journalism at Northwestern University and the Chief Scientist and co-founder of Narrative Science, a company specializing in automated narrative generation. He has also been involved in research on artificial intelligence and its applications, including case-based planning and the use of technology in education. Hammond has received funding for his work from the US Department of Education and has given a TEDx talk on artificial intelligence. His research interests include machine learning, natural language processing, and the application of artificial intelligence to journalism and other fields.
