Notes:
SmarterChild was a chatbot developed by ActiveBuddy that was available on the AOL Instant Messenger and Windows Live Messenger (previously MSN Messenger) networks. It was one of the first chatbots to be widely adopted by users, and at its peak had over 20 million registered users.
SmarterChild was designed to provide users with information and assistance on a variety of topics, including sports, weather, news, entertainment, and general knowledge. It used natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to understand and respond to user input, and could provide answers to a wide range of questions.
In addition to providing information and assistance, SmarterChild was also able to perform a variety of tasks, such as setting reminders and alarms, providing horoscopes, and checking the status of flights. Users could interact with SmarterChild using natural language commands and questions, and the chatbot would respond in a conversational and engaging manner.
Overall, SmarterChild was a pioneering chatbot that was widely used by users on the AOL Instant Messenger and Windows Live Messenger networks.
