The company is working on avatars that have Japanese-language capabilities and can play roles such as a shop staffer on an e-commerce site. They have also introduced a series of virtual world-related products in Japan, including IP Virtual Human. Tencent is also investing in other companies that are working on virtual human technology such as Epic Games, Roblox, and other. Additionally, Tencent has a plan to stop China’s children playing late night video games by using virtual human technology.
