What specific functionality would you want a slack bot to perform?
I would like a slackbot to read and record all of my Twitter timeline, the people that I follow, and learn from that, such that I could then ask it natural language questions and receive cogent, cumulative summaries of the knowledge gained. I imagine this would involve parsing the included links and incorporating summaries of that knowledge into its knowledgebase as well. Once successfully accomplished with Twitter, I would like to add my LinkedIn timeline, and my Facebook newsfeed as well. In effect, this would be a meta-adviser, learning from all my other advisers so that I wouldn’t have to. 🙂
