Notes:
DreamBank.net is a website that features a collection of dream reports and software tools that allow users to perform various types of content analyses on the dreams. The website is intended for research purposes, and is used by researchers to study the content of dreams and to analyze the social networks present in them. The website is also used to study the frequency and prevalence of specific dream elements and themes. DreamBank.net is maintained by researchers at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and contains a large database of written dream reports that can be searched and analyzed using the website’s search engine.
Social networks in dreams refer to the relationships and connections between people, objects, and symbols that appear in the content of dreams. These networks can take many forms, including relationships between dream characters, associations between objects or symbols in the dream, and connections between different elements of the dream story. Researchers have used social network analysis to study the structure and patterns of these networks in dream content, as well as to explore the psychological and social significance of these connections. Some studies have found that the social networks present in dreams can be influenced by the individual’s waking life relationships and social connections, while others have identified unique patterns and themes in the social networks of dreams.
