Notes:

The Semantic Web is a vision for the future of the World Wide Web in which the meaning of the data on the web is explicitly defined and can be understood by computers. This is in contrast to the current state of the web, in which the meaning of the data is often implicit or hidden, and can only be understood by humans.

The Semantic Web uses a set of technologies and standards, such as RDF (Resource Description Framework) and OWL (Web Ontology Language), to enable computers to understand and process the meaning of the data on the web. These technologies allow data to be represented in a way that is meaningful to computers, and enable the creation of machine-readable data dictionaries and ontologies that define the relationships between different pieces of data.

The goal of the Semantic Web is to make it easier for computers to understand and use the vast amount of information on the web, and to enable the creation of new kinds of applications and services that can make use of this information in intelligent and useful ways.
