**DAO = Decentralized Autonomous Organization**
Thanks to **Edward Saatchi** for taking the time to do a Google Meet with me, to find out more about what he is going on about. At root, I have to say that I agree with where he is coming from. He wants to do something no one has done before, and needs to get outside the box to do it. Keywords that came up were multidisciplinary, consortium, and trade association.
He spoke of a tremendous amount of waste from people trying to reinvent the wheel, and of watching people struggle and fail to accomplish something that was too big for any one person or company. He talked about a moonshot, a new Manhattan project, requiring as much cooperation as competition.
I think he is trying to find ways of incentivizing, of rewarding this cooperation right across the ecosystem, from investors to the person in the street. One pillar of this incentivization would be companies, suppliers providing discounts on their products and services based on a **social token**. The general idea seems to be to develop an accelerated economic ecosystem within the virtual beings industry to better facilitate accomplishing together what everyone is struggling to accomplish alone.
