Metabuild developed ‘R2Mix’, a live broadcasting service using digital human, through the National Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) Metaverse specialized company fostering support project.
R2Mix stands for ‘Real-Time’ and ‘Reality’ fusion. Live broadcasting pilot service was prepared in five fields: music, beauty, sports, communication, and live commercial.
There are barriers to entry, such as the burden of exposing yourself even if you have good content for a single media creator, hiring professional filming equipment and locations to produce content, and incidental costs for editing.
R2Mix provides a service that will relieve the burden of live broadcasting and barriers to entry and provide a new challenge through a real-time, hyper-realistic digital human utilization service.
Metabuild utilizes the latest real-time rendering engine technology to enable real-time interaction and hyper-realistic digital human development. A full-size three-dimensional (3D) digital human is available.
R2Mix has improved the fact that the existing digital human production method of synthesizing a face made with artificial intelligence (AI) into a human body is highly objectionable to the public due to the awkwardness and inconvenience of synthetic residues when used in live content.
To support hyper-realistic expression in real time, it provides shaders, facial rigging, and blend shape functions optimized for real-time rendering environments. From hair, clothes, and background, everything can be optimized to fit the real-time environment.
A user-friendly interface has been developed, enabling real-time synchronization between digital humans and creators with simple settings. By applying MetaBuild’s AI voice and vocal synthesis technology, the creator’s voice can be transformed into various types of voices to create content.
Streaming service utilizes meta-build network middleware link technology to transmit high-quality real-time rendering screens to desired broadcasting platforms with low latency.
