KS&PIC, an entertech start-up that operates the celebrity aspiring audition platform ‘One Pick’, announced on the 5th that it will be selected as a supplier for the data voucher support project in 2023 and will sell virtual human images to companies in demand.
Accordingly, companies, small and medium-sized merchants, and individuals who need a customized virtual human face can obtain the virtual human image they want without any cost with government support through data vouchers.
Established in 2018, KS&PIC is developing a virtual human sales business based on the high-quality facial data of 40,000 aspiring celebrities acquired through the OnePick platform. Since the data is processed with the consent of the aspirants, it is free from copyright or portrait rights issues.
According to the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency (K-DATA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT, which supervises the data voucher project, KS&PIC is the first to sell and supply images in the field of virtual humans through the data voucher business.
