**Toei Zukun Research Institute and Amana’s new project | Promoting DX for advertising visual production with “Digital Human”**

Amana Co., Ltd. Zukun Research Institute (location: Nerima-ku, Tokyo, Director: Kasai Ayumu, hereinafter referred to as “Toei Zukun Research Institute”), we have started a new project to produce human CG “Digital Human” by combining 3DCG and advanced technology.

In the coming Metaverse era, it is expected that there will be needs in various fields in the future as an epoch-making measure that enables sustainable visual production in the communication market.

In this project, we will create a digital human family consisting of a mother, father, and child, and develop it as a model that appears in corporate advertisements and communication tools. Although this family of digital humans is a virtual entity, their age, occupation, clothing, food, and housing preferences, and family lifestyles, all have detailed personas that match the images of humans that exist in reality. It is characterized by being more than just a visual image. Digital humans with personalities can tell stories, adding realism and depth to communication. Amana’s web media “Fasu”, which “creates a new tomorrow (Asu) for the family”, will be in charge of the characterization this time. Utilizing the knowledge cultivated by the media, we are drawing a new era family image that is not bound by existing concepts.

Since the 2000s, Amana has worked on a large number of product CG productions for automobiles and home appliances, as well as spatial visuals such as interiors, townscapes, and natural landscapes in CF production and corporate product development. We have a good reputation for the high quality and know-how of the creative that we have created while updating the latest technology. Under such circumstances, while working on the production of human CG, which was said to be the most difficult, we met and collaborated with Toei Zukun Research Institute, which has been working on research and development of digital humans with the aim of expressing expressions that are as close to real humans as possible through video production. has come true.

Through this collaboration, it will be possible to create CG without having to shoot all of the products, spaces, and people that make up the advertising visuals, and at the same time, it will be possible to effectively reflect the charm and characteristics of the products and services on the character of the situation model.

In the future, we will create a library of digital human models. The archive functions like a virtual model agency, but unlike the real world, you can freely cast the models you want anytime, anywhere.

In addition to the whole body, parts models such as hands and feet are also available. We aim to build a system that allows you to freely change skin color, body shape, costumes, etc.

As a result, it will be possible to develop and divert various business opportunities, in addition to supporting overseas expansion of visuals and communication.
