**KLleon CEO Jin Seung-hyeok Debuts Digital Representation of OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman**
Jin Seung-hyeok, CEO of KLleon, has attracted attention by simulating a conversation with Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, which developed ChatGPT.
At the 14th Future ICT Forum held in Seoul on the 21st, co-hosted by Financial News and the Ministry of Science and ICT, Jin showcased a digital human under the theme ‘Generative AI and Digital Human: Innovation in Communication’.
Jin stated, “If there are companies that create output based on text and input data, KLleon works on what comes after. The first part is the brain, and the second is the user interface (UX).”
Continuing, he mentioned, “Based on Sam Altman’s face, we have developed a technology that can perfectly recreate not just the eyes, nose, and mouth, but also the jawline.” He said, “We are developing a technology that can communicate with people in real time in conjunction with ChatGPT.”
Jin emphasized that the main challenges are cost and time. He mentioned that KLleon has lowered these costs by developing a system that can process 15 objects at the same time based on an algorithm called ‘Zero Shot’. He added, “Eventually, we need to share it with numerous tech companies around the world,” revealing that they are currently collaborating with NVIDIA, Samsung, Seoul National University, and KAIST.
Jin cited communication as the reason why digital humans are needed. He stated, “There were issues with the existing communication methods, and while information can be quickly and easily searched through Google, the reason for both search and communication is the same. However, communication is more powerful and more difficult than search, hence the need to further enhance digital humans.”
