**Soon Entertainment Partners with AI Startup KLleon to Develop Next-Generation Entertainment Services**
The short-form business company, Soon Entertainment (CEO: Park Chang-woo), has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AI startup KLleon for the development of next-generation entertainment services.
Through this agreement, Soon Entertainment and KLleon plan to develop new entertainment services by combining their respective creator IPs and chat avatar technologies. Soon Entertainment, which has numerous famous creators both domestically and internationally, aims to create new revenue models in the music market by leveraging their influence. As of July 2023, Soon Entertainment’s exclusive creators, numbering over 160, have accumulated a total of 980 million TikTok followers, 130 million YouTube subscribers, and 88 million Instagram followers.
KLleon’s chat avatar is a chatbot service that provides more realistic interactions to users by linking the interactive AI chatbot, Chat-GPT, with digital humans in real time. Based on deep learning, it offers personalized services by learning user behavior and characteristics. It has been hugely popular since its global launch in May, continuously adding new digital humans.
The combination of Soon Entertainment’s global creator influence and KLleon’s innovative technology through this agreement is expected to result in entertainment services that provide new value to consumers.
Meanwhile, Soon Entertainment successfully entered the short-form market in 2018 and has successfully executed creator recruitment, advertising, shooting, and planning. As the first Media Lab and MCN partner designated by TikTok Korea in 2019, it successfully conducted about 7,000 short-form campaigns as of May 2023. From 2018 to 2022, it was selected as the top TikTok MCN company at the TikTok Partner Conference and won the TikTok Hashtag Challenge category in 2020.
