A digital avatar named Noa has been introduced at Publiacqua’s public office in Florence. Technically defined as an avatar, Noa’s function is to provide information about the water service. Publiacqua continues to invest in technology, aiming to provide smart, convenient options tailored to citizens’ needs and habits.
The name Noa symbolizes water and its perpetual movement, reflecting Noa’s ability to learn, evolve, and change. Chosen through a company contest, Noa is part of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform that enhances user interaction, offering new forms of assistance and dialogue.
Currently, Noa is available through a touchscreen totem at the Florence office, providing information on commercial and contractual practices, necessary forms, contact channels, and active work in the area, all without queues and waiting. In September, Noa will be experimentally available until 6 PM, even after the physical counter is closed. Additionally, Noa’s assistance can be accessed via the company’s main social media channels.
