Notes:
Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures (BICA) is a field of research that is focused on creating the next generation of cognitive architecture models of human artificial intelligence. BICA is based on the idea that the human brain is a highly complex and sophisticated cognitive system, and that by studying and understanding the structure and function of the brain, we can develop more advanced and effective models of human-like intelligence. BICA researchers use a variety of tools and techniques, such as neuroimaging, computational modeling, and psychological testing, to study the human brain and to develop new cognitive architecture models that are inspired by the brain’s structure and function.
BICA research has the potential to provide important insights into the nature of human intelligence, and to inform the development of more advanced and effective AI systems. It is a rapidly growing and evolving field, and is attracting interest from researchers in a variety of disciplines, including psychology, neuroscience, computer science, and artificial intelligence.
