“Protected” is a term that is used on Twitter to describe accounts that have their tweets set to private. When an account is protected, only approved followers can see the user’s tweets. This is a way for users to control who can see their content on the platform. If you are not an approved follower of a protected account, you will not be able to see their tweets, even if you visit their profile page. Users can choose to make their account protected in the privacy settings of their Twitter account.
