Summarization systems are artificial intelligence (AI) systems that are designed to generate summaries of texts or documents. They use natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and techniques to analyze and understand the language and structure of a text, and to extract the key ideas and information contained in it.

Summarization systems are used for a variety of purposes, including:

Providing a concise overview of a text or document: Summarization systems can be used to generate a brief summary of a text or document, which can be useful for tasks such as providing a quick overview of a document or highlighting the most important points.
