Notes:
An emotional agent is a type of software or robotic system that is designed to have emotions or to be able to recognize and respond to the emotions of others. This could involve the use of machine learning algorithms or other AI techniques to analyze data about human emotions and the circumstances that elicit them, or the development of affective agents that are capable of simulating emotions. Emotional agents may be used in a variety of applications, including virtual assistants, chatbots, and interactive toys. They can help to make interactions with technology more lifelike and engaging by simulating emotions or responding appropriately to the emotional states of users.
JBdiEmo is a tool that has been developed to help implement emotional capabilities in Jadex BDI (Beliefs, Desires, Intentions) agents. The OCC model is a psychological theory that proposes that emotions are composed of three components: a cognitive appraisal, a physiological response, and an expressive behavior. The cognitive appraisal component involves the interpretation of an event or situation in relation to an individual’s goals, beliefs, and values. The physiological response component refers to the bodily changes that occur in response to an emotional stimulus, such as an increase in heart rate or sweat gland activity. The expressive behavior component involves the outward display of emotion through facial expressions, gestures, and vocalizations. JBdiEmo is likely designed to help Jadex BDI agents simulate these components of emotion in order to make them more lifelike and believable.
- Affective agent is a type of software agent or robot that is designed to have emotions or to be able to recognize and respond to the emotions of others.
- Affective interface is a type of user interface that is designed to recognize and respond to the emotional state of the user.
- Agent ecosystem is a network of software agents that interact with each other and their environment in order to accomplish a shared goal.
- Artificial emotion is the simulation of emotions by a computer or machine. It may involve the use of affective agents or affective interfaces, and can be used to make interactions with technology more lifelike and engaging.
- Emotion agent is a type of software agent or robot that is designed to have emotions or to be able to recognize and respond to the emotions of others.
- Emotion detection refers to the ability to recognize and interpret the emotional states of individuals, either through facial expressions, vocalizations, or other cues.
- Emotion engines are software programs that are designed to simulate emotions or to recognize and respond to the emotions of others.
- Emotion synthesis refers to the artificial generation of emotions, either by a computer or machine, or by an individual who is trying to convey a particular emotion. This could be done through facial expressions, gestures, or other nonverbal cues.
- Emotional AI (Artificial Intelligence) refers to the use of AI techniques to enable computers or machines to recognize and respond to emotions. This could involve the use of machine learning algorithms to analyze data about human emotions and the circumstances that elicit them, or the development of affective agents that are capable of simulating emotions.
- Emotional avatar is a digital representation of a person that is designed to express emotions, either through facial expressions, gestures, or other nonverbal cues.
- Emotional modeling refers to the process of creating a model or simulation of emotions in order to understand how they work or to enable a computer or machine to recognize and respond to them. This could involve the use of machine learning algorithms or other AI techniques to analyze data about human emotions and the circumstances that elicit them.
- Emotional processing refers to the recognition and interpretation of emotions, either by a human or by a machine. This could involve analyzing facial expressions, vocalizations, or other nonverbal cues in order to identify an emotional state.
- Emotional system refers to the psychological and physiological mechanisms that underlie emotions, including the cognitive appraisals, physiological responses, and expressive behaviors that make up the OCC model of emotion.
- Robotic agents, or robots, are physical machines that are designed to perform tasks automatically. They may be used in a variety of settings, including manufacturing, healthcare, and household tasks.
- Synthetic emotion refers to the artificial generation of emotions, either by a computer or machine, or by an individual who is trying to convey a particular emotion. This could be done through facial expressions, gestures, or other nonverbal cues.
