Is there a market for chatbots with a ‘sense of humor’?

Is there a market for comedy, or comedians?  Some comedians succeed, and some fail.  At least the interest in Computational humor appears to be advancing rapidly; for instance, there is a Quora topic on Computational Humor.  I suggest that roboticist Heather Knight (marilynmonrobot.com) would be a good person to ask; see my quick and dirty webpage, Best Heather Knight Videos.
