What sources should I follow to stay updated with the latest trends in natural language processing?

I submit that Quora is my hands down favorite source for learning new things today. However, the powers that be at Quora have done their level best to muck it up in a vain attempt at adding value. It is not even so much the answers on Quora that I find most stimulating, but the questions. By doing original research, attempting to provide answers for intriguing questions, I learn so much from Quora. In effect, this makes my body of Quora answers not so much a monument to my knowledge, as to my ignorance.

To “attack” Quora properly you must employ outside resources. I recommend using Google Alerts, set to: “site:quora.com natural-language-processing” (without quotation marks). Remember, you can receive realtime Google Alerts, either via email, or via RSS feed. This method turns up both questions and answers. I happen to have email filters set to custom folders in order to read email alerts at my leisure, more or less the same as an RSS feed but doesn’t expire, thus retaining a complete record.
