Notes:
Storytelling systems are computer programs or software that are designed to generate or facilitate the creation of stories. These systems may use various techniques and technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), or interactive elements, to create and present stories in a variety of formats, including text, audio, or visual media.
One way that NLP, or natural language processing, is used in storytelling systems is to enable the system to understand and interpret written or spoken language input from users. This can allow the system to respond to user requests or queries, or to generate text or dialogue based on user input.
For example, a storytelling system might use NLP to understand and respond to a user’s prompts or requests for specific types of stories, or to generate story elements such as characters or plot points based on user input. NLP can also be used to analyze and understand the sentiment or emotion expressed in text, which can be useful for generating stories that are tailored to a particular mood or tone.
- eDrama, also known as virtual drama or digital drama, refers to interactive or immersive storytelling experiences that take place online or in a virtual environment. These may include video games, virtual reality experiences, or interactive websites that allow users to participate in or influence the story in some way.
- Dynamic story refers to a type of narrative that changes or evolves based on the actions or choices of the user or the characters within the story. Interactive storytelling refers to any type of storytelling that allows the audience to participate in or influence the direction of the story.
- Intelligent storytelling refers to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) or other advanced technology to create and present a story in a way that adapts to the preferences or actions of the user.
- Interactive storytelling refers to any type of storytelling that allows the audience to participate in or influence the direction of the story. This can take many forms, such as video games, choose-your-own-adventure books, or immersive theater experiences.
- SceneMaker is a type of software or tool that allows users to create and manipulate digital scenes or environments for use in storytelling or other creative projects.
- Smart storytelling refers to the use of technology to enhance the storytelling experience, such as through the use of interactive elements or personalized content.
- Story creation refers to the process of creating a story, whether through writing, visual media, or other means.
- Storytelling toy is a physical or digital toy that is designed to encourage and facilitate storytelling, often through the use of interactive elements or prompts.
- Text-to-scene conversion systems (TTSCS) are tools or software that can automatically convert text-based descriptions of scenes or environments into visual representations. These systems may be used in storytelling or other creative applications.
