*Facebook owns **[Wit.ai](https://wit.ai/)**. Facebook is pulling a â??Whatsappâ? on Wit.ai, requiring users to stop using GitHub for login, and start using Facebook for login. There is a Facebook group for Wit.ai, called [Wit.ai Hackers](https://www.facebook.com/groups/virtualbeings/). That primary support channel has 3.8K members. There seem to be no shortcuts, or advantages, to using Wit.ai with Facebook Messenger. I would only use Wit.ai over any number of rival services, if there were significant advantages to using it with Messenger. (In any case, Iâ??ve grown weary of maintaining chatbots on Messenger, due to the constant hoops Facebook requires jumping through just to keep an open channel.)*
