**Ploonet provides ‘virtual human’ content service to Btv**
Ploonet, a subsidiary of Saltlux (CEO Lee Kyung-il), an artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 20th that it had signed a strategic business agreement with SK Broadband to promote joint projects.
The agreement ceremony held at the SK Namsan Green Building on the 19th was attended by Ploonet CEO Lee Kyung-il, Chief Choi In-soo, and SKB Segment Marketing Executive Lee Kang-hee and key officials. The two companies agreed to promote exchanges, cooperative projects, and common development based on mutually owned infrastructure and technology.
Through this agreement, virtual human content produced by Ploonet Studio will be provided to Btv as a VOD service. Through the AI-based video creation and broadcasting platform ‘Ploonet Studio’, information contents such as jobs, daily fortune, weather, and current affairs are produced, and will be expanded to various fields across Btv within the year.
The two companies establish a mutual cooperation system not only in content production but also in public relations activities. In addition, it plans to develop a virtual human model for SKB and actively promote new businesses related to AI media services, such as curation services using it.
An official from Ploonet said, “Ploonet Studio, which allows content creation with just a few clicks, will help creators expand their scalability in the content market and provide viewers with a variety of things to see.” Through cooperation with SKB, we plan to provide new and colorful experiences to viewers.â?
An official from SKB said, â??We expect that this agreement will enable us to provide more diverse and useful content quickly and easily by making it possible to drastically improve the video production environment, which was highly dependent on the cast as well as the existing time and space constraints.â?
