Jung Hye-won, CEO of WideBrain, expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating that the incorporation of AI into the metaverse would lead to more immersive interactions, exceeding expectations. He added that people who are already familiar with gaming can now broaden their scope of activities to include education, marketing, and other cultural experiences in the virtual realm.
As part of the MOU, both companies plan to conduct joint technology research and explore new business opportunities. WideBrain, known for its AR and web 3D-based metaverse platform technologies, has already achieved success in the virtual consumption industry by implementing metaverse solutions for education and advertising. The company has attracted Pre-A series investment and has been selected as a member of the Microsoft Founders Hub, demonstrating its technical prowess and market viability on a global scale.
