**New Technology Lab for ‘Museum Exhibition Hall Realistic Contents and Digital Humans’**
Newjac Inc. announced on June 9th that they will host a special lecture on the topic of ‘Immersive Content and Digital Humans in Museum Exhibitions’, as part of their New Technology Lab open seminar series. This lecture, produced through the ‘2023 New Technology-based Content Lab Operation Support Project’ by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea Creative Content Agency, will be held through Newjac’s ‘XR Content Creation Studio Lab’.
The lecture will be conducted by Professor Park Jin-Ho from Korea University, focusing on the process and significance of implementing immersive technologies in museums abroad, illustrated through a case study of the immersive content at the National Bangkok Museum in Thailand. The seminar will also explore the agenda of ‘K-AI’, discussing the future of ‘Digital Immortality’â??the concept of bringing historical figures into the present through AIâ??based on the latest examples of AI digital humans modeled after historical figures.
Newjac CEO Jeong Hae-Hyun stated, “By hosting this seminar-style open lecture, we hope to facilitate networking among creators from other labs, and as the broadcasting and performance industries begin to actively utilize extended reality production technologies, we can provide possibilities for content production by merging XR technology in various genres.”
The seminar will be held online via Zoom on the 14th at 2 PM. Admission is free, and applications can be made through the OnOffMix application homepage until 12 PM, two hours before the lecture.
