**Ploonet introduces ‘AI business card’ based on AI technology for creation and conversation for the first time**

DB Insurance (CEO Jeong Jong-Pyo) announced on July 5 that it has signed a strategic business agreement with Ploonet, a subsidiary of AI company Saltlux (CEO Lee Kyung-Il), to apply Generative AI-based services to insurance operations.

The agreement ceremony held at the DB Insurance headquarters was attended by key stakeholders, including Ploonet CEO Lee Kyung-Il and DB Insurance Head Shim Jin-Seob. They agreed to establish a strategic partnership based on their mutually possessed resources and expertise.

Through this agreement, Ploonet will produce and distribute a new concept of ‘AI Business Cards’ for DB Insurance’s insurance planners to use in sales and customer service operations. Also, Ploonet plans to optimize the AI secretary service ‘Sohn Secretary’, scheduled for release in the second half of this year, for DB Insurance. This marks the first introduction in the property insurance industry.

The AI Business Card features a virtual human created based on the real video and voice data of the planners. Ploonet’s creation and conversational AI technology, which can create a virtual human in just a few minutes with a small amount of data, is utilized. Ploonet had previously created over 400 virtual humans at the ‘CES 2023’ event, the world’s largest IT exhibition held in the U.S. earlier this year.

With the AI business card that reproduces their actual appearance and voice, insurance planners are expected to promote themselves actively and offer a differentiated user experience to customers. The Sohn Secretary service, which can integrate responses through omnichannels such as phone and text, is expected to maximize the efficiency of sales operations.

A DB Insurance official stated, “We are actively promoting the innovative digital transformation of insurance business with the catchphrase of securing digital competitiveness that does not lose to big tech companies. We will continuously introduce insurtech services based on leading-edge technology.”

A Ploonet official said, “The AI business card, which can maximize immersion and create intimacy in non-face-to-face communication channels, will elevate the digital communication competitiveness of the property insurance industry. We will continue to actively support the digital innovation of the industry with our creation and conversational AI technology.”
