**Virtual Human Global Summit: Shaping the Future of Biomedical Digital Twins in Healthcare**
The Virtual Human Global Summit is an event focused on the advancements in Biomedical Digital Twins, an innovative blend of medical science and information technologies that could revolutionize medicine and patient care. This technology could reshape our understanding of biology, change the technologies used for disease prevention, detection, diagnosis, and treatment, and provide a more personalized approach to health and wellness for each patient.
The summit will bring together global thought leaders to share early experiences, innovative ideas, proven approaches, and future opportunities for advancing biomedical digital twin research for sustainable use in global healthcare systems.
The two-day event will take place in New York City and will explore cutting-edge research, translation, and utilization of biomedical digital twins to enhance patient care. Topics include enabling technologies, data streams and workflows development, and successful deployment and operation, with the aim of shaping the future of the biomedical digital twin experience.
There will be a small fee charged for the event. The organizing committee includes Peter Coveney from the University College London, Eric Stahlberg, Lynn Borkon, and Morgan Granetz from the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research, John Stubbs from Eviden, and Kerstin Kleese van Dam and Meifeng Lin from the Brookhaven National Laboratory.
