**Oasys Launches AI-Based Dragon Rearing NFT Project ‘RYUZO’ **
Oasys, a company focusing on game-specific blockchain technology, announced the launch of its AI-based nurturing NFT project “RYUZO” on August 2, 2023. The project, a collaboration between Bandai Namco Research Institute and double jump.tokyo, allows users to obtain a dragon egg-like NFT, called “MARYU,” and hatch it into a dragon, or “RYU.” Each RYU becomes a non-transferrable NFT known as a Soulbound Token (SBT) upon hatching. Users can nurture their RYU, which, by the fifth generation, can produce new MARYU. The nurturing application employs AI life-form technology, with the RYU’s abilities and character changing based on user interaction. Users can also participate in mini-games, such as racing their RYU. The RYU nurturing application is expected to conclude around the end of July 2024.
